IT'S A BOY!

So I had my first ultrasound experience on Friday, which was really quite amazing! We soon discovered that we were in fact expecting a little boy! I saw the heart,the blood flowing to his little kidneys, his face, legs, arms, and feet. Mark and I of course had to purchase the pictures. It was just mind boggling to see! It's truly miraclous how everything comes to together to make a fully functioning little baby. I hope to get the pictures scanned sometime soon so everyone can see the little guy :)I have to go back for another ultrasound in a couple of weeks. Turns out that we have a stubborn little baby. The technician was trying to get a picture of the heart at a different angles, but our baby refused to move out of his comfy position. The technician had me lean over the bed with my elbows on the matress (different elevaton I guess), cough loudly a few times, lay on my side, and suck in and out my tummy. After all these attempts the baby had not moved from his position. So alas we will have to try again in a couple of weeks, not that I mind I get to see my baby again ;)
